She was the first patient ever to undergo labia minora reconstruction with clitoral hood flaps, which was invented by me to correct her problem. 31-year-old who had a trimming labiaplasty with excision of her prepuce resulting in removal of the upper 2/3 of her right labium, a small irregular, scarred left labium, and over-exposure of her clitoris. She was reconstructed with clitoral hood flaps on each side with removal of the scarred left labium, a right lower “Alter V” wedge excision, closure of the hood over her clitoris, and excision of redundant perineal tissue. a. She underwent a clitoropexy with decreased protrusion of her hood, reattachment of her frenula to the labia, a left clitoral hood flap to reconstruct her left labium, and advancement of redundant lower right labium. a. 55-year-old who had partial amputation of her right labium and scalloping with irregularity of her left labium. She underwent a right clitoral hood flap to reconstruct her right labium and two wedge excisions on the left to give her symmetry and to eliminate most of the scalloping. a. Pre-operation. b. 63-year-old who had a trimming labiaplasty with labial amputation, clitoral enlargement, and an open perineum. She had a two-stage reconstruction with clitoral hood flaps to reconstruct her labia minora along with vaginal tightening followed up by a clitoral reduction and fat injections to her labia majora. a. Patient 29
24-year-old who had a clitoral hood reduction with a trimming labiaplasty resulting in amputation of the left labium and near amputation with scalloping of her right labium. She underwent reconstruction of both labia minora with clitoral hood flaps. Also, various excisions and skin advancements were used to improve the attachments of the clitoral frenula to the new labia minora and to improve the bottom of the retained labia.
